Regular lunch box postings should resume tomorrow as it is the first day of school (AACK!), but I wanted to share one last tip with you all. Our kids throw their lunch boxes into a common area when they get to school. Not sure why, as it creates a layer of confusion when more than one kid has the same lunch box. When you have a kid with food allergies, this can actually be a pretty big deal. One way we have learned to make lunch boxes quickly identifiable is to attach a keychain to the handle.
Even without allergies, I am hoping this helps my kindergartner quickly pull his own box from the common cart.
There you have it. See you tomorrow with first day of school lunches!
